There is a sort of permadeath in this game, but it easy to work around. If a choice affects the Unity Gauge or anything else I will note it, but otherwise I won't be listing every fake decision that comes up. You can turn it on and off at will, so choose whatever you'd like.Īs far as choices go, most only give you a minor dialog change. Other than hints/trolling it does not effect gameplay. This will allow you to see notes left by other players similar to soapstone signs in Demon Souls/Dark Souls/Bloodborne. The game will periodically ask you if you want to activate network functions. You cannot change between the modes once you start, so make sure to pick the option that appeals to you. It also orders the party in a more modern Wizardry fashion, so just remember that the first three characters from the left are in the front row and the last three are in the back row. Classic has paper doll visuals for your characters that you can customize, and their fashion will change depending on what they have equipped. It also orders the party in a way to easily see the front and back rows. ![]() Basic has fancier looking static pictures for your characters, making creation quick. You can choose between two Game Modes when you first start the game the differences are only cosmetic. If anything important is wrong or was missed, let me know and I'll fix it and give you credit. Missions are listed in the order they appear at CPA Headquarters.Īnyone can use the maps posted here for any reason, so long as they are not used for monetary gain. One last important thing to note is that following this guide exactly will cause you to miss out on some flavor text, but it is nothing important to finishing the game. I will try to avoid plot spoilers when I can, but I will be listing Mission titles and enemy names which can give certain things away if you read them before they are accessable in your own game. Each Blood Code (Class) is so limited in what they can do in First Semester that the strat for each battle is quite literally "activate Unity abilities when you can (Magic Shell against heavy magic users, Fast/Slow Code for everything else), use the best Skills/Magic you have for your level, and cure/heal status effects when needed." I will cover some basic information about each Blood Code though, and there is a list of enemy weaknesses at the bottom of the guide if needed. If you are looking for information about Operation Babel, which is the Third Semester, you are looking at the wrong game, though there is a Missions and Maps guide for that one as well. If you need information on the second half of the game, see the sister guide "Second Semester Missions and Maps" which should also be in the Steam Guide section for this game unless something catastrophic happened. These maps cover locations, event orders, and items needed for the Missions in the First Semester with the goal reaching Second Semester quickly. ![]() In case you didn't already know, this game is actually a remake of two separate games merged into one Generation Xth: Code Hazard being the First Semester and Generation Xth: Code Breaker being the Second Semester.
